Matt Nasby
Manager DJ/MC
Moorpark & Santa Barbara Wedding DJ Service
Santa Barbara and Moorpark wedding DJ Matt Nasby has a successful background in wedding DJ entertainment and has worked with some of the biggest contemporary artists like Alicia Keys, Peabo Bryson, Keith Sweat, FloRida, and Sean Kingston. He has been heard on 97.9 KISSFM Jacksonville, FL, and even operated his own radio stations in both Panama City, FL, and internationally in the Cayman Islands.
No other DJ offers his level of experience and professionalism.
As Matt’s career in broadcasting developed, his wedding entertainment experience followed him no matter where he lived in the country. Being asked to fly from the Cayman Islands to do a wedding in Wisconsin or Modesto, California, became quite common.
Brides want the best at their wedding and are willing to do whatever it takes in order to have that peace of mind on their wedding day even if it means flying a professional overseas.
He also realized that most DJs don’t have experience being a professional MC, as it takes years of experience to sound natural, comfortable and entertaining. The power of a good MC gives the crowd the confidence and comfort to enter the dance floor and let loose. It’s taken years of experience and research to find the spark that makes a crowd have a wonderful time. Good music is only one ingredient of the entire entree.
It wasn’t until August 2010 in Key West Florida, when Matt decided that it would be a wonderful experience to make wedding entertainment a career choice. He launched Bouquet Sound in Jacksonville, Florida, in September 2010 and won Best of Bride by Jacksonville Magazine in 2011. He wanted to bring this honor home to Southern California to be close to family and friends.
Matt provides wedding DJ services in Moorpark, in Malibu at venues like Calamigos Ranch Wedding Venue as well as Santa Barbara and is known as one of the best wedding DJ companies.
“A truly great DJ, just for a moment, can make a whole room fall in love. Because DJing is not about choosing a few tunes. It is about generating shared moods; it’s about understanding the feelings of a group of people and directing them to a better place. In the hands of a master, records create rituals of spiritual communion that can be the most powerful events in people’s lives.”
